My car is a 73 charger.
I bought a painless wire harness complete with all lighting, under hood and under dash.
All the old wires were burnt and melted.
I have an msd ign, Blaster coil, and Mallory distributer.
I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to wire them with the dual ballast resister.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
David

No ballast required to MSD ignition. There is a couple of threads with diagrams, made by Tom ( Mefirst ).

MSD needs same power coming from ign on both RUN and START position, and the only way is get those sources together what Chrysler feeds one at a time to set two different power levels on each position with the ballast.

All you need is splice together the brown wire coming from ign with the blue wire coming from ign on ballast plugs. You can get rid off the brown wire section going to coil and the black traced yellow going to coil from ECU ( same as rest of ECU wires ), since MSD carries its own coil wires sources.

Nacho
Thanks
I have been going crazy trying to wire this thing.
They have tech support but they are closed and I really want to get it wired this weekend.
Thanks for the help.
