On my way to Burger King a couple days ago, I saw our local '69 charger daytona clone in Salem, OR.  (I saw you, Dane, but you didn't see me due to the parked cars...)

I was cutting across the parking lot one way and he was heading across the other way (away from BK).

Makes me wish my '69 was driveable.     :drool5:

Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

I was sitting at a light in the big city of Bridgeport Ct when to my right, sits this 69 with GL type rims and roof trim.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Drache, it must be the open headlights that got me thinking.....If this old Charger was a person it would appear to look alert and cute...but in a sad sort of way.

Another pic of the GL clone and a quote from the owner on craislist: "68-70 charger Needed !!!!!! This weekend My beloved charger was rerended and totalled by 21 old girl texting I need a Body to rebuild it ............Seroius Buyer 503-314-2443 call text any time Thanks."

Yea, text anytime... except while driving.

Though I feel for the owner 'cause that really really sucks and I know what it's like...I KNOW totalled...so far maybe these pictures make the car look not that bad and fixable, maybe other photos at other angles show it's in worse shape than it seems by those two photos so far...

and by no means am I trying to one-up that guy or anything, please don't take it that way everyone, if I sound that way!

I agree with you. Looks like an AMD poster child but not a total. This guy does some flipping so I wonder if he's playing that card to get some hits on another acquisition.

This guy has been working on fixing the damage, but that hasn't stopped him from running want ads... ::) http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/pts/3106914952.html
