I checked my air gap on the MP ignition and you couldnt see a gap, so i used .a 008 brass feeler gage as thats what a chiltons has. I lost the paperwork from my converson kit. Is .008 ok and i checked my ECU and it seems ok but i might replace it with a cheapo unit. I need a backup one anyways.

I have not used an electronic since the 80's but .008 sounds right.

I googled it and found out its .008. If I just would think for a minute my life would be easier.

too add to that....On mine, I noticed that the gap between the two were not sitting exactly square with one another.  I had to put a tiny washer underneath the screw adjustment to bring it up to square.  Got better results after that was done.  (Amazing what I can find by going to my drum kit maintenance road case...lol)
