'69 with a '68 steering wheel?

My '69 has a steering wheel that I've been told is from a '68. Is it possible it's original? Never was changed from what I know. I was thinking maybe some early build cars got it (leftovers from '68) but my car has a SPD of June 20, 1969. Any thoughts? :shruggy:

I'm more inclined to think it was changed at some point.

I'll have to give the original owner a call and ask him.  :scratchchin:

Is the base wheel the same? Just change the horn pad.

Although I did pick up a '69 parts car that had that same wheel on it.May not be the best example as it's been thru a lot of owners.
I will have to check the build date , maybe there was a problem with the supplier.

Probably changed out at one time.... I sorta dig a 68 wheel more than the 69 base wheel, now I like the woodgrain better than both!
Hey Cody I noticed your car has the same seats as mine....vinyl with the cloth inserts. Mine are total trash though.
