Not QQ-1. More like CC-1. See this thread on the blue colors for the 68's. http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,30646.0.html

Dan

thx dan, mine was oriignally QQ1 until I had a customized blue painted and I couldnt remember how she looked more like faded blue.

Not too many anymore...  :'(

That pic is from about a month ago.

Happens too fast, I love the color of your car.

nvrbdn

about like our area, 2 weeks difference from full of leaves and trying to change colors, to bare naked trees and raking the yard.

1974:   My car is factory acrylic enamel UU-1 with a C6-B Frost Blue interior. I suspect that the exterior color has been slightly modified with a bit more silver being added to the mix (long story).

Thanks, guys.   MM1.....or at least what PPG mixes as MM1 in today's base/clear.

lloyd3

That's the long story I mentioned. It had been UU-1 base coat/clear coat for 15-years, and when I re-did it I wanted the more metallic blue of the non-original paint.

JUNKTRAVELER: all I've seen in this thread is a bunch of bullies and 3 guys that actually give a crap.

VegasCharger

Absolutely stunning redmist  :drool5: :drool5: :drool5:

Everything I like about a 68. No vinyl top, black, nice wheel rim combo, wheel well moldings in place, no trim on the bottom of the sail panels (even though its NON vinyl some folks put the trim there) and the Charger scripts on the sail panels in place

DadsCharger00

Heres my 68. not sure if I posted before!

Well thanks!!!

It's actually EE-1 paint. (Or something close to it) Original color was EE-1, and when I repaint it, it will go back to EE-1. I love the dark dark blue!
