Passenger mirror

Greetings everyone,

I finally spent the cash for a passenger side mirror. My question is: Does it mount in the same position as the drivers side? Does it mount a little farther back on the passenger door ie, so you can see all of the mirror from the driver seat without the wing window frame blocking part of it? Thanks

Thanks Jason those measurements will be very useful. Does your factory passenger mirror sit in the same place front to back as the driver's mirror?
