Im not trying to be a smart arse, I thought of it as a joke first but how do you think my 69 dodge charger would look in a mosseoak camo wrap? i think it might look awsome or it could be terrible
or if anyone knows of pictures of a 69 in camo please do share, thanks yall!

Ghoste

I absolutely believe you should do it.

richRTSE

what about a camo pattern of blacks and grays? that might look cool... :scratchchin:

Ghoste

Or urban camo?  You could paint it up with grafitti and stuff to make it blend into an inner city background.

64dartgt

How about camo in all those cool 60's and 70's bright colors the charger came in?   :scratchchin:

Cooter

Not also sound like a smart a$$,but I'm thinking that '95 Jeep seems more of the "Camo" style than a poor Charger......Just my .02 here coming from one who painted one Orange with an "01" on both doors.

The car has great lines.  It would be a shame to take away from them with a camo job.

IMHO The best way to act on the military them would be to do it with a solid coat of a flat, earthy color like green or brown.

twodko

If you really have a hankering to do this, look into getting your car "wrapped" with vinyl like a lot of business vehicle are doing now. Heck of a lot cheaper than paint and if you hate it just peel it off.
FLY NAVY/Marine Corps or take the bus!

bull

This is the best idea ever. Although I'm sure Joey Gowdy has already considered it...

Domino

Styk river stencils...you can do flat enamel or clear coat to whatever finish you want.

Patronus

yeah, a wrap would look cool, with lines of rivets like an airplane and some patina  :Twocents:

I'm guessing this would be even cheaper than the Maaco paint job you had planned?

Domino, want to do my car? thats the best home done camo job ive ever seen man!
Ghoste your funny, but looks arent everything lol jk
Cooter the jeeps already green and i scratch it everytime it goes out so id waste money making that thing look better lol
and I have no idea if im going to do this or not, its just an idea ive had, can anybody photo shop a 69 charger camo? like camo wrap?

if i do do this it will be a wrap or rattle can but i dout it will be by can
atleast this way theres i dont really have to care about dents because camo doesnt reflect and theres no worries with scratches, tough ups, rust bubles are easy to fix and just deems all around cool or worth the grand or so to have it done

Um, actually, I think most people are being sarcastic. :slap:

Ghoste

Rattle can is definitely the way you want to go especially if you want to impress girls.  It gives it that authentic backwoods home made look and what fly honey doesn't lose her panties for that?

Domino

Driving a camo charger...it's like an online dating compatibility filter. You probably don't want to date the girls that look down their noses at it anyway, they're just not your type.  I get it.
Hell, really stir this place up and make it a camo General Lee.

Patronus

I think I saw a camo Charger once  :D

The other day I was riding (poaching) some trails on the moto. Stopped for a break and this white p/u truck comes up about 50m away. This guy gets out in real-tree camo and starts walking towards us. So Im watching, and watching, and he's coming towards us but not getting any bigger. It was really weird with the camo, like you couldn't look away. Turns out he was a midget.  :shruggy:
