68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

A couple of Blue Thunder thank yous today... First, a great big THANK YOU to DC.Com member "daveco", a longtime friend of mine, for replacing the driver's side exhaust tip with a NOS exhaust tip "pulled from Dodge Mahal inventory"...  ;)   The failed part was a NOS part also, but the "Z" bracket attaching weld to the body of the chromed tip failed during the short drive around the neighborhood, and the small "Z" bracket is MIA...   :P  :brickwall:

A second big THANK YOU! goes out to Kirby Krueger, the son of the owner of the Dodge dealership which sold my Charger 500 when it was brand spanking new!  Kirby's father was Ed Krueger, and the original selling dealership listed in the "Shipping" List that Galen Govier has was "Ed Krueger Motors, Inc" in Monett Missouri. :cheers:  :coolgleamA:

      I hope you have better luck with your tips than I did with mine. They were NOS also from back in the 90S and after 20 K miles they are rusted to death. I have been debating having them sent out to be chromed or just get a set of stainless steel tips. :Twocents:

Thanks Brian, it was a long, hard road to restore the Charger 500...

And now, it has it's first car show outing, escorted by my 'Cuda 440-6 which was at the first Cowtown Mopar RoundUp in 1987, and now the 30th Annual CMR!!!  Also escorting Blue Thunder was my Challenger SRT8 driven by my wife Jessica with two young nephews visiting from California... Their very first car show!

The only thing is see different is, you are Power Steering.
I have owned and driven Manual Steering 4-speed, Bods in the past, it certainly wasn't fun around London Town lol. :smilielol:
