I LOVE steam locomotives!!

Wow... that is an AMAZING monster!

Yes, it sure is.

I was lucky enough to see the 3985 challenger back in about 1990. And I rode my bike to Pendleton, OR in 2010 and saw the 844.

Both really awesome steam engines. The 3985 has been off the rails for quite a few years now and was recently donated to an 3rd party. They are apparently working on restoring it to running condition.
