Looking to replace my dimmer switch harness and was curious (since there aren't many reviews on this piece) if folks here had any experiences or may there be another one you'd recommend, by chance?

I'm sure it's probably fine, but always feel more comfortable posting on the forum first just in case....thanks!

what it got actually damaged on your harness? Just wires? Or also the plug?

On my 74 the plug got a base where it mounts the switch itself. That's a generic/universal piece.

Just in case you could be interested

It gos the full wires up to bulkhead and headlight switch so you could replace the full wire instead splice it. It should be enough still being an A body wire section. Locations are pretty much the same. Sure would need to untape partially and tape again the underdash harness.

(EDITING... well, except for the high beams wire, doesn't have the bulkhead terminal end)

Thanks man for the responses and info. The connector (plug itself) on my original piece, after 50+ years, simply has some broken edges. So, to help get a better connection fitment, it'll probably be this season's mini-project,  ;).

But, yeah, certainly looks like these connectors fit just about anything and everything....

Nacho-RT74

Then your concern is just the conector itself.

Well, here is another one

Seller sends an offer after one day being saved on your eBay account. In my case he offered me a 30% discount on the price (US$16).

This is a piece used on all Mopars untill 80s maybe ? If you have a JY around pretty sure would find one.

Sorry I hate that universal piece being used LOL. I think is even being used on the new repro harnesses 🫣😠
