Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I would trade my 68 Charger in a heartbeat for a Ferrari V12, the older the better!!

I'll admit that there are some modern engines that do sound nice.
That is fine if you want them. I'm sticking with something that I'd have a chance at repairing should it need it!

As often as possible, but not in winter LOL
Only wimps wear Bowties !

Well in Canada, you'd really have to be hardcore to drive a valuable classic in sub zero weather.

First drive for 2026! Got some gas and went to the post office and a spin on the highway to see how things are since putting it away last year. Fired right up and ran great, may have had some sideways situations trying to get traction with dusty cold tires  :coolgleamA:

I need to spend some time looking at either the shifter linkage or the clutch fork area as ever since I had my 18yr old drive it last year in a parking lot, it is not going into the gears smoothly anymore, have to almost give  it some revs to drop it in gear.  I forgot about this issue last year, oh well, the joys of toy cars. Other than that, got it up to temp, no strange noises, battery charging, pressure good. Now I just need to give it its yearly wash and I am good to go  :icon_smile_big: firstdrive26.jpg

Good luck, keep us posted. My daughter, grandson and I put about 60 miles on our 70 last month. With my new LED headlights and soon to install 150amp alt. I'm gonna do some nighttime runs to test the mods.

If I'm at home and the weather is nice...

Nobody is guaranteed another year. Go out and enjoy yourself today.

They do.  Had a Hellcat and in the end didn't care about it at all.  Then built my old iron headed 426 to run the same as a Redeye naturally aspirated and absolutely love it.

So that's my opinion.
