Those rollers flop around when the pressure plate is not installed, when the engine's running they wedge between the clutch cover and the friction part of the pressure plate. Helps prevent slipping at higher RPM/power. I had one fall out for some reason. I don't even know how that could have happened? At first it lodged between the starter and flywheel. The car wouldn't start until I changed out the starter :flame:  but the clutch never gave me any problems after that

Thanks for the info regarding how the rollers function, I never touched those pivot nuts but maybe they were not bolted down correctly from the factory, seems strange that someone else had the same issue with the same pressure plate.
