69......Although it was 68's that got me hooked on them. I just couldn't find one each time I was in the market and when I finally did I used it for parts.

The bugle sounds the charge begins. But on this battlefield no one wins.

My 73 is almost done and I have a 69 RR sitting in the driveway.
I hope to start on that one next year.

Hi!
Have a 68.
I am in Norway, but the car is still in the US. Gathering parts to bring it home, and build a really sick pro touring car.
Since we only live once, and all this is not just a dressed rehearsal, but the real thing............ Well, enjoy it!!!!

Good point... As a 1st Gen owner, I can tell you that the cost of restoring one has risen dramatically in the last couple of years... so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the market value of these vehicles starting to rise soon as well.

I got a wicked 68 b5 blue with blue interior with a 440 ,400 horse motor with air, cruise I painted 4 years ago and just put in new buckets and door panels it had 45000 miles on it when I bought from the guy.It was sitting in his shed since 84 it still had kell springfields on it the steering wheel didn't even have a crack in it no cracks in the windshield no rust on it.It was a good find for 12000 Canadian.I also got a 69 numbers matching 69 with a 383 its coppper with tan interior but it needs some work, oh the money and youth wasted on the most amazing machine in the world ::) Lee in Saskatchewan Canada
