So the guy this guy bought it from said there must have been some moisture in the paint 8 years ago is why it is starting to bubble ??
Guess he just did not want to say it has started to rot out from the back side

That thing has been up on Ebay before.  It belongs in an 'EPIC FAIL' compilation.

It looks build-able eventually (when the current seller is ready to lose a ton of money).  He says it's got original panels and I don't see a whole lot of rust or bubbling for older paint.  Take all the junk off, replace the parts that the builder cut up or threw out, and it's a decent project.

can't say that I hate it  :scratchchin:  then I saw the interior  :eek2:

What happened to the good looking dash?
That looks like a bad version of a 50's British car dash.

I think the dash looks more like the 57 Chev dash and there is one behind the car in one picture

Just as valuable as a rusty shell as a starting point for restoration.

Except it's a mostly complete car and doesn't look very rusty.  IIRC the ad says it's older paint and it only has a few bubbles on the quarter.    By 2020 project standards that thing looks damn solid.

I've seen this one at a few events around Atlanta over the years. It seems like a nice car underneath all the "enhancements ".

I would pay "I'm buying it to immediately strip down and rebuild before the neighbors see this in the yard" money for it. Certainly not complete restored charger money for it.

If I was the seller, I would gather up the big pieces to put it back to stock and advertise that they all come with the car.  Like a whole '68 dashboard, flat hood, center console, radiator support, etc.  Nobody is gonna buy that poor car intending to leave it as-is.

When you customize a car, it becomes your creative artwork.

When you ask a high price for it, you are looking for somebody else to value your artwork more than you do.  Good luck with that.

I like the paint job idea, but not the rest
