Now it's finally happening, Charger blower build has been ongoing for a while  :2thumbs: Many many years I was planning this, now it comes reality  :2thumbs:

Last year I supercharged that my Bandit Trans Am, it came out so fast, that Charger really needed some more power to keep up with it  :icon_smile_big: So, GMC 6-71 blower should help with that

Here is picture taken few days ago when I got blower carbs, soon I will get blower intake so I can start bolting that 6-71 on it's place  :D

Here is also one picture of that Bandit that I supercharged, all mechanical, I wanted it to be just like it could have been on year 1978 if factory would have had Supercharger option  :coolgleamA: :2thumbs:

I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but I have new 2V billet pulleys to replace old ones and then this tooth gear pulley for blower, all can be just bolted together...

Oh now I think I know what you mean, do you believe that original keyway on damper isn't strong enough? I haven't even thought about it. I have supercharged many cars, always that one stock keyway on damper has been enough. But this is first blower I'm installing, I guess this makes more stress to that damper / one keyway than those centrifugal superchargers.

But this is mild boost engine, it's max 7-8psi what I will use and even that might be challenging for stock Magnum engine. At the beginning I will use only 4-5psi boost, I ordered several different ratios for blower that I can adjust boost.

I love it.  Looks fantastic!
Years back Id do mods every winter.  One winter it was OD, AC or a blower, lol?  I went OD.  But the following winter I was working with The Blower Shop in PDX for a 671 or 871,iirc.

Someday I'll own a bug catcher, lol.

May I ask what your compression ratio is pre blower?

Boost is somewhere 6-7psi now and engine is stock 440cid Magnum, so engine CR is around 9.5.

Thats what my stroker H is too so they said I didn't have to do any bottom work?  They said my motor was perfect (but of course, lol)

I will get a b catcher someday, mark my words, lol.
