I'd insert a picture or two, but this site makes it impossible for me.     ::)

In London huh, what does gas cost there?

JMF

I think about £1.60 for V-Power unleaded at the moment

My cars are not driven too often so the petrol prices have never bothered me too much as they are just a nice weather weekend car etc

I cycle to work so I do my bit for the planet that way 😀

lloyd3

JMF: Thank you for that.

Making that '68 fit rural British roads must be darn interesting. What do the other Brits think of your car? Do you ride your bicycle just to atone for your V-8 musclecar sins? I suspect that would require a lot of peddling (it certainly would in my case).

Let's see, 1.60 (per Pound Sterling) per liter (I assume) so... that translates (1 liter is 0.264 gallons so 3.8 liters/gal) means that you're paying $6.40 per US gallon.

Not much worse than California these days, eh?  I think I just paid $3.80 for premium unleaded here in Colorado 2-days ago.

To be honest the Charger is not much bigger than a 5 or 7 series BMW so all good

JMF: Well, I'll be in both Ulster & Dublin next week so... maybe I can get a sense of the scale of things there for myself.

One of my favorite shots of my car from a few summers ago now (still with the last set of 14-inch rims/tires).
